What happens to Network packet if source machine goes down
This may be a dumb question !!!
Curios to know like what happens to data which has been released by source
machine on network before getting crashed. Does the packet dies in between
or it reaches the destination?
I came across this when i was trying to get some last lines of
/var/log/messages using ssh before the machine getting crashed. I know
that the machine gives some trace /var/log/messages before dying but at
client side i don't get anything
